I am working on a feature that explores which is harder: horses or houses?
The New York Times recently published a story about the equestrian development happening in Wellington, Florida, a major equestrian town, as well as Ocala. They interviewed equestrians who are also brokers. One of them said something that stuck with me: “I find real estate is often an easier sell than horses,” said Andrew Bourns, 42, an Irish International Grand Prix rider and entrepreneur.
I want to find 3–4 real estate brokers who are also equestrians, who buy and sell horses as well as the properties where the horses live, to share their perspectives on both industries: the similarities, opportunities, headwinds, and more.
