Will Gorges is one of America's foremost Civil War artifact appraisers and dealers, with over 40 years of experience authenticating and valuing militaria, firearms, uniforms, edged weapons, photography, and historic flags. He is the owner of Battleground Antiques, Inc. (civilwarshop.com), based in New Bern, North Carolina — one of the most significant Civil War sites in the country. Will is a past member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA) and has served as a consultant and approved appraiser for the National Park Service and the NC Museum of History.
