Tom Cloud is the founder of Vertex CTO Advisory, a fractional CTO practice serving private equity firms and mid-market portfolio companies nationwide. A 25-year technology executive, Tom spent nine years at Lehman Brothers as VP of Technology across New York, Tokyo, Sydney, and Hong Kong, and transitioned the technology operation to Nomura International following the 2008 collapse. He is also the owner-operator of 48 Technologies, a Dallas-based MSP, giving him direct visibility into both sides of the MSP relationship — how portfolio companies experience managed service delivery and how MSPs operate internally.
