I got in trouble on the first day of first grade for talking in class. I was busy making friends. I’ve been suspicious of authority, outspoken, and making friends ever since. I began creating photographic images at the intersection of art and advocacy in 2012, which lead to the pollinator project (an enduring love). My interests led me to earn my Texas Master Naturalist certification in 2013 and a Climate Reality Leader certification from Al Gore in 2020. My husband, Kruger, and I formed KruShan Foundation (@krushanfoundation) in 2022.
