Dr. Shahadat Hussain is a Materials Scientist and Mechanical Engineer based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. He currently serves as an Associate Research Scientist in the Division of Engineering at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD). His research focuses on the design, fabrication, and mechanical characterization of advanced architected materials and shape memory alloys. Dr. Hussain specializes in Triply Periodic Minimal Surface (TPMS) metamaterials and NiTi (Nitinol) shape memory alloys.
