Sfia Iminotras is a master artisan and president of the Iznaguen Women's Cooperative for Authentic Rugs, based in Taznakht, a village in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco with a centuries-old rug-weaving tradition. With over 45 years of hands-on weaving experience, Sfia is a living guardian of Moroccan Berber textile heritage — a craft passed down through generations of women in her community. She leads a cooperative founded in 2009, bringing together 64 skilled artisans who each carry a minimum of 25 years of expertise in traditional hand-knotted and flatweave techniques.
