Prior to entering the creative industry, I worked as a lawyer and musician in Washington, DC, with stints at the ACLU and DC Council, toured with my rock band, and recorded an album with a Grammy-nominated producer. Following the economic crisis in 2008, I pivoted from the legal field to strategic communications in branding, advertising, and UX, and have since worked for brands in a range of verticals from beauty to finance.In 2019 I launched Budwell, a smokeware accessories brand. Our flagship product has since been featured in press such as Forbes, Dieline, NY Magazine. In 2023 we won a Clio Shortlist Award for Integrated Campaign, on which I served as the Creative Director and Copywriter.
