Sam Chapman

Sam Chapman is a nationally recognized expert in state-level psychedelic policy and the Executive Director of the Center for Psychedelic Policy. With more than a decade of experience advancing drug policy reform, Sam led the campaign for Oregon’s Measure 109—the nation’s first licensed and regulated psilocybin therapy program—and later helped guide its implementation. He has advised lawmakers, regulators, and funders across the U.S. on designing pragmatic, politically viable psychedelic policies, with a particular focus on affordability, state-funded access, and pilot programs.
