Robert Magrino

Robert Magrino is the inventor, founder and CEO of AquaBLAST, the first portable aquatic fitness and aqua kickboxing system that uses the weight of water to creates up to 55 pounds of variable load and turns pools and swim spas into low-impact strength-training environments. Robert developed AquaBLAST after a shoulder injury prompted him to search for a safer, more effective way to exercise. His early experiments with water-filled containers led to a new training concept: using adjustable water weight together with drag and buoyancy to create progressive resistance in the pool.
