When I was 19, I went on my first ever whitewater rafting trip down the Ocoee River. It was one of the best experiences of my life. While I was rafting, I thought about quitting approximately 40 times. (And that’s a lowball estimate.) I am not the best swimmer, but I wanted to try something new. I had to face my fears and decided to take on this challenge head first. But despite the high winds, racing rapids, physical fatigue, and screams. I kept going. I’m that person.
