The retired State Park Director from South Carolina, Paul was selected to fill the role of President for the national organization working with Directors around the country. The organization works to promote the work of state parks in providing outdoor recreation and provide resources to Park Directors to assist with effective management in their individual states. The association, branded as America's State Parks, provides training for leaders around the country, collects data and shares best practices with parks agencies.
