Michael Donovan LPCC

Michael Donovan is a retired Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and former Director of Behavioral Health Services based in San Francisco, California. After more than 28 years working in the mental health and substance abuse treatment field, he retired in 2020 and has since focused on independent research, continuing education, and community advocacy. Throughout his career, Michael worked with individuals and families facing challenges related to addiction, recovery, anxiety, depression, trauma, and co-occurring mental health disorders.
