Martin A. Schreiber, MD, FACS, FCCM, FRCST (Hon), is a nationally and internationally recognized trauma and critical care surgeon with more than 30 years of leadership in military medicine, academic surgery, and trauma research. He serves as Director of Surgical Research in the Department of Surgery at Madigan Army Medical Center and as Adjunct Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University, and he holds the rank of Colonel in the Medical Corps of the U.S. Army Reserve. Dr. Schreiber earned a chemistry degree from the University of Chicago and his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University, then completed surgical training at Madigan Army Medical Center and the University of Washington, including a fellowship in trauma and surgical critical care.
