I’m the founder of Neurodivergence Gallery, an independent international initiative that uses art and storytelling to give voice to people whose ways of thinking, perceiving, feeling, or functioning don’t fit society’s often rigid ideas of what is considered “normal.” Through this work, I explore questions around neurodiversity, trauma, mental health, human consciousness, and the systems we build around difference. At the heart of the project is a vision that reaches beyond diversity as a point of separation: I’m interested in what it would look like to create societies flexible enough to accommodate human variation by default, to the point where labels such as “neurodivergent” eventually become unnecessary.
