Juan Contreras

I am a University of Chicago–trained clinical social worker with over five years of experience in clinical practice and experience in research. As a psychotherapist, I support individuals navigating a range of emotional and psychological challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues. I primarily offer online therapy services in Chicago and within the state of Illinois for various mental health challenges and concerns. My research background includes work on psychological constructs such as suicide, emotion regulation, and relational dynamics. I also hold graduate certificates from the University of Chicago in Trauma-Informed Care and Gender & Asexuality Studies, which further inform to care.
