John Moelker is a Reformed-leaning software engineer and ordained pastor with fifteen years of experience in each discipline. After fifteen years building software systems in industry and another fifteen years pastoring churches in Ontario, Canada, he returned to engineering to build AI tools that triage and route rather than replace pastoral care. He is the author of the AI Bridge Principle, a design rule that bans AI agents from acting as counselors, priests, or pastors and instead bounds their work to information capture and routing to human caregivers.
