Joe Zawistowski

Joe has spent 25 years designing and building water features across Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina, with a focus on ecosystem ponds, koi ponds, natural swim ponds, pondless waterfalls, and large-scale waterfall construction. A certified Master Aquascape contractor, he approaches every project with the same philosophy: a water feature should look like it belongs to the land it sits on, not like something installed on top of it. Joe has diagnosed and rebuilt hundreds of failing features across the Carolinas, consulted on premium custom builds, and developed deep expertise in the specific challenges that mountain terrain, becoming the backdrop for his best work.
