Husain Chhatariya is a Technical Chemist at AirBoss of America, a leading rubber compounder supplying defense, automotive, and industrial markets. He specializes in rubber formulation, compounding, and rheological testing, with expertise spanning elastomer blends, sustainable composites, and vibration-damping materials. He holds a Master's in Materials Science and Nanoengineering from Rice University and a B.Tech in Polymer Engineering. His current research focuses on lightweight bromobutyl rubber composites with hollow glass microspheres for sustainable damping applications, and additive manufacturing. He is an active member of the ACS Rubber Division and can comment on rubber technology, polymer materials, tires, and sustainable elastomers.
