I have always had a passion for the use of nutrition in preventing and treating disease. My unique academic and clinical experience spans multiple countries and species, giving me a well-rounded approach. Originally from Canada, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and nutrition at the University of Guelph in Ontario. I went on to pursue a Master’s in Animal Nutrition, focusing my research on canine nutrition. I completed my veterinary degree at the University of Edinburgh and began my clinical career working in poultry medicine. Looking to have a greater focus on nutrition in my clinical work, I applied and got accepted to the clinical nutrition residency programme at Ghent University in Belgium.
