I am the proud president of a non profit named One Stop Veterans (soon to be MI Torchbearer). Our nonprofit in Jackson, Michigan honors America’s legends—especially, WWII veterans, Original Rosie the Riveters, Tuskegee Airmen, Korean War and Vietnam Veterans ,by enhancing their precious later years through events, tributes, programs and initiatives as well as connecting them with youth as much as possible and providing purpose to veterans of all eras. The organization was founded by Herbert Elfring, Michigan’s last surviving Pearl Harbor veteran who passed away in 2024 at 102 years old. We are eager to share these legends with America and get there stories in the hands of youth and anyone who loves America.
