Devin Watson is a former Division I and professional basketball player, youth development coach, and founder of Watz Academy. A North County San Diego native, he played at El Camino High School before competing at the University of San Francisco and San Diego State University, followed by a professional career overseas. Today, Watson specializes in athlete development, basketball training, leadership, and mentorship. As Head Boys Basketball Coach at Sage Creek High School in Carlsbad, he focuses on helping student-athletes develop strong fundamentals, discipline, confidence, and character both on and off the court. Watson regularly shares insights on youth sports, coaching, athlete mindset, leadership, and long-term athlete development.
