Dr. Deepak Raja is a highly respected, board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced expertise in cataract and refractive surgery. A native of Englewood, Florida, Dr. Raja’s academic journey began at Duke University, where he earned a degree in biomedical and electrical engineering. He went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, followed by an internship at Jackson Memorial Hospital. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Vanderbilt Eye Institute in Nashville, Tennessee, and further specialized through a fellowship in cornea and external disease at the University of Minnesota.
