Cristian is an international affairs professional and AI governance expert. A Romanian veteran with over a decade of government service, he now leads neo teo, a consultancy advising on business, policy and strategic issues, including recent expert contributions to NATO Industrial Advisory Group (NIAG) studies. He is the founder of AI Safety Romania and co-founder of PauseAI Romania. His work is grounded in postgraduate studies in human rights at the University of Hong Kong and practitioner training in AI ethics and tech policy at Stanford, alongside hands-on experience in cross-border business, including energy and industrial sectors in Ukraine and Romania.
