Dr. Ben Reinking, MD Board-Certified Pediatric Cardiologist • Academic Physician-Educator • Master Certified Physician Development Coach I am a pediatric cardiologist, medical educator and physician-coach with a mission to empower doctors and medical students to thrive—both in the clinic and in life. At the clinic and academic level, I’ve spent my career at the University of Iowa’s Stead Family Department of Pediatrics, focusing on echocardiography, fetal cardiology and single-ventricle congenital heart disease. Simultaneously, I’ve held key leadership roles in medical student education, fellowship training, faculty development and admissions. I am currently the division director of pediatric cardiology.
